Right in the very heart of the Drôme Provençale, next to the Comtat Venaissin and the Dauphiné, the terroir of La Suzienne covers twenty-two communes and, since its creation in 1926, has produced some of the most individual and expressive Côtes du Rhône and Coteaux du Tricastin wines.
Here, surrounded by truffle oaks and olive groves, in stony plains or on gentle south-facing slopes, the vine exercises it's reign. The envy of many a wine grower, those of La Suzienne have the advantage of a wide variety of soils and micro-climates between Grignan and Suze-la-Rousse to play with.

Sitting at the foot of the impressive medieval château of Suze, La Suzienne is entrusted with the labour of 877 wine growers to produce a wide range of prestigious wines year upon year.

Today the vineyards cover an area of :

1600 hectares of Côtes du Rhône
